Cathedral Rock Church

Project overview & outcome.

Cathedral Rock Church partnered with Pasley Commercial Interiors mid-construction, with most materials already selected for its 10,000-square-foot facility and a project budget of $1.5 million. The core objective was to translate the church’s identity into an inviting, brand-aligned environment while efficiently driving the project to completion in time for Easter services.

What challenge did the client face?

The team needed to integrate seamlessly into a project that was already well underway, while still influencing key finish and furniture decisions without disrupting the construction schedule. At the same time, Pasley Commercial Interiors had to elevate a baseline of generic materials into a cohesive, character-rich interior that respected both the client’s budget and their long-term vision for ministry growth.

How did we solve this design challenge?

Pasley Commercial Interiors streamlined the design and approval process, strategically reordering select decisions so that critical items could be finalized quickly without sacrificing quality or alignment with the client’s goals. By combining color strategies, value-conscious furniture selections, and a custom kids' play church concept, a warm, expressive environment was crafted that feels tailored to the congregation and supports future programming.

What business results came from the design?

The completed spaces now feature thoughtfully composed wall designs that heighten visual engagement and wayfinding, along with furniture that introduces the color, texture, and comfort needed to make the church feel genuinely welcoming. Key areas showcase a transformation from a “vanilla box” into an energized ministry hub.

What does the client say about the project?

“We were already deep into construction when we brought Pasley Commercial Interiors into the project, and we faced a firm Easter deadline that left no room for missteps. Their team accelerated our decision-making, helped us navigate choices with confidence, and transformed our previously generic finishes into a warm, brand-aligned environment that truly feels like our church home.” - Mandy Lee, Director of Admin + Connections, Cathedral Rock Church
