SPECIALTY PROJECT GALLERY

We are honored to have been involved with the interior refresh of the historic Cog Railway Depot in Manitou Springs, Colorado. Our design efforts focused on updating the flooring, bathrooms, light fixtures, and woodwork while keeping the original look and feel.

This multi-family project provides permanent supportive housing for previously homeless women and children. As a trauma-informed project, this design had to be thoughtful to increase wayfinding, color palettes, and shapes. We focused on a pastel color palette that represented the sun, sky, earth, and fire and added uplifting imagery to encourage the residents. The building enjoys stellar views of Pikes Peak, so it seemed fitting to design a moss wall art piece depicting our mountain views infused with the uplifting elements of biophilia. We were proud to be a part of such an important project for our city.
